Wolfe Lookout

Wolfe has a new story in F&SF. "Bea and Her Bird Brother." From the blurb, it should also be published in a future anthology, though the title of it escapes me... has to do with birds.
"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”

Shadows of the New Sun
If anyone knows what this is, let me know.

...ah, here it is:
Shadows of the New Sun is a collection of non-fiction reprints from Castle
of the Otter, etc. plus new material and reviews, including a witty piece on
Wolfe's Guide to Permissive English.

Wouldn't mind reading this one. Hopefully it'll show up on ebay or used book store. Amazon has it for $80.00---yikes :(
