Lore, your good deed for the day...

Isaac has the Tranformer's movie website listed as one of his Favorite...and the onlything on it is the trailer!

Remember the old cartoon movie?

It's pretty much a rite-of-passage for any Generation X aged male.

Heh Transformers. I'm stupidley excited.
But if you're all about the destination, then take a fucking flight.
We're going nowhere slowly, but we're seeing all the sights.
And we're definitely going to hell, but we'll have all the best stories to tell.

Yep, those Transformers. This going to be either wonderful or a desecration of my childhood memories.

Yeah, I'm not sure how this one will turn out. I guess you'd call Michael Bay an action movie director. I'm not a big fan of his stuff. Hopefully he won't botch this one.

Bay's director credits:

The Island (2005)
The Lionel Richie Collection (2003) (V) (video "Do It to Me")
Bad Boys II (2003)
Pearl Harbor (2001)
Armageddon (1998)
The Rock (1996)
Bad Boys (1995)
Shadows and Light: From a Different View (1992) (V)
Great White: My...My...My... The Video Collection (1991) (V) (video "Call It Rock N' Roll")

I recently watched the 1986 movie. That pretty much ruined my view of them.

Hey, hey! Not just for boys! I was 16 when it came out and I used the 2 boys I was babysitting as an excuse to go see it. I think I was even more excited then they were! My all my kids love it, especially Alex. She has a coloring book and puts pictures of the Autobots on her wall!

We so have to see this new one!

Unless this is not the Michael Bay who directed Pearl Harbor, then the film is going to suck. Michael Clark Duncan (big dude from Green Mile) was supposed to be in the Transformers cast, but he left. He probably read the script and had the same feeling as me.

Unfortunately it is the one and only Michael "Yes I really f***ed up Pearl Harbor" Bay.

 Personally, the plot is rubbish, there are major animation and design mistakes and the ending is weak. Okay, it's a kids' movie, but kids' movies can be so much better.

Admittedly, the part I liked was when Unicron first shows up.

From what I've found out so far; Prime was going to be a fire truck; but they swiched him back into a Tractor--(looks like a Freightliner from the clip)
Ironhide will be a Hummer
Bumblebee is a Camaro--becasue VW would not him to be a bug.
Ratchet will be an ambulance.

Megatron will be a Tanks (makes sence--it'd be touch for him to shirnk down into a handgun)
Starscream will be an F22
Soundwave will be a helecopter--I can understand not wanting to make him into a Boom Box like he was...and to be an iPOD would be Ridiculus--but a helecoptor? He should at least be an AWKS or something.
