Riddles in the Dark is my favorite. I like Gollum a lot... he makes me laugh. My friend and I read that chapter together and just had fun with his speech. It's awesome.

I like the troll scene a whole lot, too, along with Beorn and Bard.

The saddest part for me in the book was when Gandalf fell (I had read the Hobbit about twice before I read Lord of the Rings and had become quiet fond of the old goat), the story of Sméagol's corruption, watching Frodo go through this too, Theoden's death and the whole part in the Grey Havens. In th...

Sir Gawain and the Green Knight

Has anyone read this? I just bought it off the internet and have mixed feelings about reading it... 1.Pro - I love old history/epics. I have a feeling I'm going to love this tale. Tolkien was a linguist... so it should be good. 2. Con - It's not Middle Earth... it might take me awhile to fathom the ...

The Tale of Luthien and Beren for me. I just like that a lot.

I also like the creation. That is cool too. I love just saying the characters names.

I personally like Lothlorien... I didn't used to a whole lot, but I do now. I also like the escape from Crickhollow... and the wraiths... for some reason I like the wraiths. I don't know why, I mean, they're so creepy and all, but, I like the scenes with them in it. Of course I love "At the Sig...

Yeah I've watched Drumline... like... every possible charter bus band trip. The drummers love it. Wonder why? ;)

We march much different than that though.

I LOVE THE FRENCH HORN! I wish I hadn't started on flute... french horn was my second choice.

What are some of the shows you marched in?

Haha that's funny. I haven't actually marched in instrument in a long time. When I say we have tradition... we have tradition, and everything marching, parade or field show, is like... hard core. So naturally, middle school band has drum majors and such. So last year I was a drum major. Fifth, sixth...

Marching Band

Heh... umm.... anyone else enjoy? Go to any competitions? DCI? I guess there's not much to say about it. If you were in it, or are in it, you hopefully understand. If not, there's not concievable way you could. Either that or it's just the fact that my town has such a history and pride with their ma...

I got the Braveheart and Gladiator soundtracks... I think. I might have got more (I went on a soundtrack buying hall for the band trip to Florida right before that), but I can't keep them all straight.

Heh... this would be a prophecy to a story I've always wanted to write... just... I'm not sure where to start.

I wrote this like... two years ago, and, it needs some heaving editing... but, is it cryptic enough for a prophecy?

Help! 8O

Prophecy

Asailing like the wind on a stormy day... CRASH! Flying freely into war. Caring not the price. Raging like eternity never ceasing but destroying the devastation wrought by themselves in their own folly and misery. Never-ending, Never-beginning, but always winning. This thunder will be louder than be...

Haha I should have clarified. More so a flaw in hiding the transformation; something that would prove that the Land was real. In the end of the first Chronicles... Covenant still could have thought it a dream if he _really_ wanted to. It'd be hard to believe.... but that's besides the point. =P She ...

Ah man, this was great. Perfect ending for a perfect 2nd chron. (okay... so... nearly.) Something I thought of when I read it was, "It's such a shame Covenant didn't live to come back to the real world." Now, not only because Linden would be left with much less pain, etc., etc.... but if h...

I think both of them have changed enough that that would be impossible. If the Elohim examination had resulted in the First asking for him to be healed, I think we would see a difference. First off, she would have failed her examination. But putting that aside, the Elohim were constantly losing the ...

Could it be that Foul was a part of Covenant also. He was a writer what makes him a creator of sorts and Foul could be the reverse part of him. Just a thought. Doesn' Covenant say that they are? Just a sec... let me look. "Talk's cheap. You can say anything you want. But you're wrong, a...

I actually really like Covenant's line about giving the ring to Foul... now... granted, he went to Kiril Thrender with the intention of giving him the ring, but something tells me that he would have done it anyway, instead of risking Linden. Gosh there's so much darn talk of love. =P and it's all so...

Me, being the one that hasn't finished the book yet, thought that when Linden realized that Vain was grabbing Findail with his right arm, that she would realize what his purpose was when "it was too late", or so to her thinking. Ha! I always like to see how SRD transforms the characters in...
