Figure skating and dance gymnastics can be somewhat measured. I think that sports like those or cheerleading are only a sport when they are competitive though. Just doing it for presentation doesnt count. As for rubberbands they are really good on roller coasters. Also, they make a great fire starte...

I'm still firmly convinced that "rent" is used in a more final sense than "killed", to distinguish between killing a Raver, á la Caerroil Wildwood or Mhoram, and finishing one off for good. I agree. With the law of death being broken, simply killing a raver would not have done m...

I just finished the books and I have to just say wow. I didn't think that they would be anything compared to TCTC but they are incredible. As far as Angus decision it seemed to me to be a survival instinct. If he hadn't smashed his helmet so that he could see, they would have all died, where as with...

Wow, this topic has gotten huge. 24 pages! I never thought much about her while reading the book. I gotten the impression that she and Jeremiah were connected and that the connection would be revealed when TC and Jeremiah entered Revelstone . With all the possibilites that have been mentioned, SRD m...

This is a very good question, and I don't think that it will be easily answered. As for my own interpretation of the books, and I must admit that I read them at way to young an age to fully understand them, I gathered that the use of the white gold was an assertion of the will of the weilder. If thi...

Personally my opinion of Covenant greatly changed, however, it only changed as Covenant himself did. At the very beginning of the books I felt sympathy for the Covenant that I barely new. Then as Covenant entered the land and started to show his cowardice, I couldn't stand him. If it hadn't been for...
