Peter Jackson is an overrated director. I thought his LOTR was a disappointment, I can't bear watching it again on DVD.

I agree with the idea of a cable series over a movie. Show each book over an entire season.

Milla Jovovich would be a horrible Elena. It's funny how you say Anglina Jolie doens't have the range but Milla Jovavich (The Fifth Element) does? Milla Jovavich is one of the worst actors! She simply cannot act nearly well enough to be taken seriously other than a joke. Umma Thurman as Elena? No wa...

WORST actors for TCTC movies

William Shatner as TC! A hyper Robin Williams as Lord Foul! It'd be hilarious to see William Shatner and Robin Williams act out the final scene in The Power That Preserves. The Star Trek battle music plays. Shatner is mocked mercilessly by a hyper Robin Williams. Robin- Jumping and Laughing. Mocking...

Actually, Arnold Schwarzhnegger in ANY Role would be hilarious.

He could play all the roles.

Arnold as TC.

Arnold as Lord Fould.

Arnold as Lena.

Arnold as Bannor. -That might work.

Arnold as Lord Mhormam.

Um..if you can recognize him, then you would not have chosen him for this role. But it would be funny to see him try. HAHAHA.

Re: Casting of female characters

High Lord Elena - Angelina Jolie!! Linden - Jodie Foster Angelina Jolie is not who I imagined would be suitable to play Elena...tho' Jodie Foster is a good choice for Linden Angelina could portray the following attribute that fit Elena: 1> Beauty 2> Intelligence 3> Inner Strength / Nobility 4> Madn...

Building on my previous post, I think the Second Chronicles would be much stronger and more consistent IF TC still held onto his disbelief. Maybe he would've disbelieved Linden was really there, thinking she was just a fragment of his mind, the same mind that created Hile Troy. But maybe somewhere a...

At the end of TPTP he doesn't care if it is a dream or not...it was still worth fighting for. But if he took up the offer, he would be admitting it to himself that it was in fact real...well what if it turned out to be a dream? This was still possible in Cov's mind, so what if he said,"Okay, I...

I don't think he could have coped with the kind of praise and treatment they'd give him. He managed to overcome his fear of power to defeat Foul, but I doubt he would have been able to manage, let alone enjoy, life as the Saviour of The Land. I think he's just a cranky man who enjoys being cranky a...

We know that Ten years later, TC did return to the land, and he had no problems believing in the Land then. And he eventually died, but still lived on as one of the dead.

Might it not have been wise for TC to accept the Creator's offer?

Is TC that stubborn? That absolute?

At the end of Power that Preserves,

Why didn't TC accept the Creator's offer to restore TC to the land so that he could live out his life as a hero? His whole defense of his unbelief was that belief of the Land violated his self-protective measures that help him cope with his illness in the real world. Well, the Creator offered TC to ...

Baracka.

This name just popped into my head when I was registering. I dont' know where I got it from, but it just sounds like a fantasy character's name, perhaps a tough bad guy warrior.

Baracka.

I agree SRD IS Covenant. There is something about his face that just draws you in. It's been mentioned before that the ideal actor to play Covenant would look a bit like SRD. The only actor I can think of who qualifies, and who would do the role justice, is Thomas Hayden Church (although you have t...

The Haruchai are stocky and muscular aren't they? I don't see them as asian... I'd sooner go with somebody with the Michael Clark Duncan stature... only shorter though. As for TC... Gary Oldman would be perfect for the role. The age, the look, portrays everything I see in TC. An average man. Niowhe...

I got the impression the Ur-viles, and Waynim were a dying breed, and almost exterminated. Linden saved them, but I don't think they're in any position to create another Vain.
