I call it brilliant.

Not the name itself, of course. But this close to E3, they release the name. Every eye is now on them. You can't buy media attention like that.

I personally love consoles. Although they're no good on the FPS/RTS/TBS grounds, they're just so much easier to set up then a LAN. You grab four controllers, pop in a disk, and you've got yourself a great excuse to have some friends over and have a gaming party. Then again, when it comes to single-p...

I didn't mind Linden in the First Chronicles at all. Mainly because she wasn't despoiling the books there.. In the Second Chronicles, she was whiny and annoying. But instead of being whiny and annoying where there was room for it, (I mean, the Lords and Warward protected the Land in the 1st Chrons, ...

I personally prefer the idea of the dirt as an expression of greater despair, and despite. In the original Land, Foul did what he could to spread despite and despair. Well...yeah. The Xbox360 annoyed me to no end. You see, for me, being fairly young, gaming started with the NES generation. I didn't actually own one, but it was awesome fun, there were games that the Atari hadn't even thought of, and it was a innovation in its own right. Then came the SNES generati...

However, it still doesn't explain why Roger wanted Covenant's ring. I mean, after it becomes his, it has no difference to, say, a white gold ring he bought in the jewellery store down the street.

EDIT: I think I might see now, after reading Joan's Swift Doom of the Land.

Roger and White Gold

Now, this has been nagging at me for some time, now. Roger killed people, kidnapped people, all to get at Linden's white gold ring. However, this makes absolutely no sense. Covenant and Joan got each other rings for their wedding. Would it really be *that* hard to go buy some white gold for Lord Fou...
