Runes spoiler: Linden's trip through a caesure to secure the Staff of Law kind of proves that good CAN be accomplished through evil means, so I ask: Would it be evil to possess bush and make him throw himself off the grand canyon? And then make Cheney turn his own shotgun on himself? Or is that goin...

What if we had the Land's gift of sight here in our world?
Can you imagine how horrible everything would look? How disgusting and unhealthy most of us are? How polluted the land and bodies of water are becoming? The air? All the pollution spewing forth from our cars and other modes of transportation? Thinking about it, I wonder if Linden would have prefered...

Wow, so in FR we got back a Covenant that was actually Roger--and in the next one we're getting a Covenant that's actually Foul? But you didn't answer my question, is Foul now corporeal? Or do you believe he's just sort of persona that Covenant will periodically exhibit (like possessing Anele)? If i...

When I say he should know everything, I was more referring to his roll as Time, or the Arch. So he should know past, present, future. Unlike Hollian, who was--in the end--just a mere mortal. Covenant became much more when he died. The Final Cs are heavilly based on people not knowing things. True, b...

Covenant, the Arch, and Book 9
I've been rereading the entire series, and I just got passed Covenant's destruction of the Clave's Banefire, and Covenant's transformation into the 'alloy' of white gold and venom. After, while he and Linden are discussing what happened, TC tells us basically that now he IS the Arch of Time and he I...

Song of Fire and Ice series by George R. R. Martin The Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan (RIP) is always good. And I was just going to suggest David Farland's Runelord series, and say that the series is finished, but lo! Two more books have come out in the series I didn't know about! To Barnes and Nobl...

To counter, where on Earth are you going to find any place that could even hold a candle to the beauty of Andelain? The majesty of Revelstone? Lifeswallower wouldn't be hard, you'd just need a swamp--and what about the dread Ridjeck Thome (ugh, I can't remember how it's spelled--Thom?). And as far a...

If there's going to be a movie--it should be Animated
Agree? Thinking about it, with so many fantastic and beautiful visuals, wouldn't it make more sense to be an animated film rather than live action? Obviously, LOTR has shown us that it can be done, but they KNEW it would make a ton of money, what with it being the father of all modern fantasy. But t...

If I had known (or bothered to search) for this place I would've been posting here since the early 90s when I first read the books. But, after finishing FR I felt so empty (thanks to having to wait 3 years for the next book), and I had no one to talk to about the book--so I went to the SRD webpage a...

I was more worried about the Arch. If she wasn't supposed to have been there, healing all those people that probably should've died would have serious reprecussion on Time. But, as time travel is always quite ambiguous, Linden and the Theomach were probably supposed to be there and heal those people...
