OK and we all join in with heartfelt "Good Luck"

But Stephen Kings' narrow escape must remind us (ad nauseum) of how fragile we are...

Oh Dear: A) I am aware that millions of people rely on goats for their daily sustenance. I am also aware that millions of people rely on sheep, cows and, whatever crawls or swims or creeps. Or whatever slithers sinuously. Goats are not a special case. I've fed goats - they don't say thanks. And B) H...

The only answer to cooking in the Land is that they must use lots of Pepper sauce. But, really, Goat? Is it really possible to eat goat (apart from kebabs - which. in London, are more likely to involve, well, certain animals more at home than anywhere else) But yer cats and dogs whatever - goat? I s...

OK - Holsety - fair comments and fairly said. Not convinced about the George Washington thing - wasn't he one of the people who rebelled against their Lawful Ruler? (I'm in trouble again - I can smell it. Why am I always in trouble?) But on that note - getting back to The Unfettered - they may not h...

Aye - lots of good stuff.

This thread has become a little theistic.

The Creator Made the World which contains The Land.

Lord Foul went behind His back and made Bad Things in His creation.

But The Creator Made the World...

We've had a couple thousand years to sort this one out...

How about... The Creator - in the act of and after the fact of Creation becomes irrelevant. The Creation becomes relevant. Otherwise what's the point? I can put a drop of honey outside my window to see what will happen, but, once I've done so and have seen what happens well ... Not so easy to stop t...

May I advert you to

"Uhh - Hey Guys ... frightened."

That was kind of the point I wanted to make. Even as a rider, or a footnote, or an afterthought - I'm not sure it belongs here.

I know passions are riding high on these matters but let's leave them all outside.

OK - I think I may have to print that out and study it before I can even start to think about a reply. But I have a question. If the politics of the USA are an acceptable part of this Forum then I will, regretfully, have to say my goodbyes. I mean no offense by this and certainly "do not mean t...

Aye - but the Devil is in the details.

We can all identify with the Grand Themes but I still consider it a weakness not to involve the "little people".

Although I completely forgot about the Unfettered One in LFB.

Yeah, but back to Torchwood. It's a Doctor Who spinoff (and, tiresomely to those who already know, well, do the anagram thing) and is made by the BBC. The basic idea is that Queen Victoria (1819-1901) after meeting the Doctor decreed that an institute be set up to defend her Empire from aliens. Torc...

Where are all the animals?

In LFB TC was served a meal which was meat and bread baked together. Now I know we have horses - but where are the cattle, the pigs, the sheep? For goodness sakes - where are the dogs and cats? All the animals seem to be evil - ( kresh - or corrupted - birds and whatever Lord Foul used to make a Gry...

I'm having to tippy-toe here to avoid spoilers... but consider the Laws which have been broken.

The guy in the ochre robe, I reckon, is TC.

*BLUSH*

Ok - it's a fair cop. In my defense it first aired on Digital BBC3 which I rarely bother with - Beeb2 showed it a week later.

I'll try to be a little more dedicated.
