Whoa! The who and Black sabbath have been bested here! I'd like to add another sin. Walking on the Moon by the Police was covered by this really cool fat guy. The police do give off a reggae feel alot of the time and i guess this guy really built on that Original: www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Nt8dJ6rMZI...

Covers that surpass the originals.

Hey guys! In this topic I'd love you guys to post certain songs where you believe the cover to be a direct improvement to the original. There may not be that many out there, but it would be cool if we got them down on here. My first addition: The song, Moon Over Marin, was written by the Dead Kenned...

Gahh.. why do I try to improve when people like Spanish Hugh Jackman here can pull this off on a sidewalk. Simply astounding.. and creative. I Guess some of that sound could be tube distortion.. but it does sound like he's got some crazy effects going at some points.

Watchy awards are more oriented to categories where the selections can be voted upon...matters of quality and preference, rather than quantitative measures where the answer is cut-and-dried computable.
Understood. I'm excited to see who's winning the awards!! are there nominees? How do we vote?

A rum in my hand I traversed the land Only to halt the pain that I'd had. The trees slick with ice and dormant with fright haunted my way and obscured my sight. So quickly I moved to pass the trees that I felt my own heart beginning to freeze so I stopped to finish the rum in my hand just to find ou...

Love is better than hate and friends are much better than enemies. We all call ourselves humans and whatever that means, I don't think it's that we should divide ourselves from one another.

If I had a 5 year old ask me what 9/11 was I could say without a doubt that I would do as best I could to explain what happened in an appropriate manner. I don't think it's something they are not allowed to know. Plus it just makes them twice as curious when you tell them your not going to tell them...

You know, I have to agree.. I kind of put the last Samurai on a false pedestal, it's just one of those films that I seemed to like where everyone else seemed to think was mediocre. It's kind of historically accurate I guess, i just love it. Another one is shutter island.. i thnik that movie is bette...

I'v never seen oblivion, but i do understand your tiredness of Tom Cruise. I come here in hopes that you haven't seen the movies Collateral and The last Samurai. Those films, IMO, are the greatest Tom cruise films out there. With the exception of his role in tropic thunder, which he did amazing with...

I have to say that I really didn't mind his sword of truth series. It was, however, about seven books too long. Granted the last time I read them I was 13.. maybe I should have a look again? could you explain to me what was so bad about them?

Depends on the person really.. For me i was to stupid to appreciate what i read when i was in grade 8. so about 13. I read all three books, didn't really like them and proceeded to discard them from memory. Re-read them last year in grade 12 and now I will never forget them, or have another favorite...

To tell you the truth Clinton, I find myself liking Fantasy less and less as i go along. I feel like all the other fan...
