You have to assume that he was a god of some kind, and just appeared as a beggar to Covenant and Linden. if you take his word in The Power That Preserves that Covenant was neath death from the antivenin, how then did Covenant survive. And you don't have to take the beggar's word. the nurse and Doct...

I'd have to say Wounded Land is my fav .... After reading the 1st Trilogy, you wonder if anything would ever beat it. Then he comes back with TWL and brings back a flood of all that happened before and adds onto it. Very few movies are able to achieve such a feat, but Donaldson goes about it without...

Hey RDGO_50! I was in the Air Force also - I was stationed in Montana, fixing missiles. Lackland, Sheppard, Williams, then HAHN (WG/NATO) - '72 to '76 HAHN was the toughest, and ended up being the best. It was good to get out-of-Country and have Uncle Sam pay for it  Which TC book is your ...

I voted the guy was a hgher-being as well. (of course) since watching StarGate, you could call him one of the ascended, but that wouldn't work either ... Based on the Laws in pace which keep Lord Foul imprisoned, it is only by indirect contact that he has hope of affecting any real good to his creat...

For those that are curious ... Personally, I usually don't bother with paperbacks. If I ever see the need to replace a missing, or damaged, TC book - I go straight to EBAY and search for Stephen R Donaldson (not just Donaldson). Everyone once in awhile you can find one being let go -which is also si...

I first read the chronicles in the early '80s. I was home on leave for the first time and my parents lived out in the country in the middle of nowhere - there wasn't a whole lot to do. ... I prefer classic movies, any Nature channels and the History channel. Anyone else here get the High Def channels on a HD TV? Freaking awesome! I haven't been able to collect enough shows in a row to really gete into BSG, over StarGate.... SG-1 still cranks 'em like WOW - the last show I just watche...

I'm really enjoying all the posts there are here - it'll take almost a lifetime to read them all, but I'm workin' on it. Each week - my girl and I have several Shows we 'always' watch. A couple we are collecting the Seasonal DVD sets that go with. Best DVD Seasonal Set to purchase would be the Serie...

I hail from the midwest - in Indiana - and back in the day - we used to be able to watch Dr. Who on PBS in these parts - but, nowadays, they only show the stuff which is mainstream - not very much of the so-called fringe stuff these days - it's all programmed, if ya know what I mean..... But, I bet ...

Re: Which Dr. Who is your favorite?

As I understand it, Doctor Who was originally devised as an educational series for teaching children about history in an interesting wa...

Truthfully, that artwork would look great on the wall in my Office at home. See the Background / Publications page on the official site. Where is this located exactly?
