220 pages and holy shite! King is not wasting any time here. Some major items have gone down already. The story has also touched every emotion in the spectrum as well.

Definitely on track to become my favourite book in the series!

Original Star Trek - New Voyages - Fan Made!?!?

I've just stumbled across something quite amazing. Seems there is an Enterprising group - pun intended - of Star Trek fans who have banded together to continue the original 5 year missions of the Enterprise. The cast and crew are based in LA and many work within the entertainment industry - New Voya...

I found the latest DVD release an immeasurable improvement upon the previous incarnations. The lack of warmth is addressed by the new cut and it just flows better overall.

You can see the 3 prints over at thedarktower web site. They are awesome!

Love the 19's in the tree branches with Roland in a forest.

Yeah, I concur, Callahan is gonna buy at the Dixie Pig. I think the others are going to get heart breakingly close to the Tower.

TESB - when Luke steps on the elevator plate and goes up to the freezing chamber in the Cloud City.

Vader's breathing, the lighting and smoke used in the scene and Vaders's "The Force is strong with you, young Skywalker. But you are not a Jedi yet!"

Perfect, just perfect.

TESB all the way. The only slow part is when Han et al are inside the asteroid worm.

ROTJ recycles too many elements from the previous movies and has those damned Ewoks.

'Course I'll take any of the LOTR movies over any of these. 8)

Best title of the prequels. Worst acronym - ROTS.

Here's hoping the third time is the charm as the previous two have been underwhelming to say the least.

DVDs will be replaced by HD-DVDs which bumps the resolution from 480 to 1080. Those of you with HDTV know the difference this makes in picture quality. I've seen it and while not the same jump as going from tapes/cable to DVD there is a definite improvement in picture quality. HD-DVDs will probably ...

Tough choice but Spidey2 wins out because no missteps were taken with the villian this time. Doc Ock looked like Doc Ock unlike the Power Ranger suit the Green Goblin was saddled with. Emotionally, S2 struck so many more chords and it was pretty funny. Suprisingly funny. Finally the SFX were much mo...

I don't understand how a movie studio can run with such a project when they must have heard all the negativity being expressed.
