I agree, the dance of the wraiths was a beautiful part of the book, it would be good to see other fan's interpretations onscreen. I also found melekurion skyweir hard to get my head around. Hmmmmm...... I used to think the seige of revelstone but that would probably end up like minas tirith me think...

Covenant is the chosen one, we need an 'actor' familiar with these roles.

Basically, we need keanu reeves!

Was about 2003, I had read Lord of the Rings years before and was captivated by it. Naturally, when the film trilogy ended I had nothing really left to look forward to. So my eccentric and slightly nerdy uncle (everyone's got one) handed me a battered copy of the 1st chronicles telling me it was as ...

Exactly!!! The glossary at the back of the chronicles says that the fire lions are a term for fire flow (obviously meaning lava flow) from mount thunder!!! So how the hellfire can they also be described as magical lion like creatures of fire??? If the glossary is mistaken, I sure hope somebody got f...

Quick question about fire lions

:?: Are the fire lions of mount thunder actually magical lion shaped beings of fire or is it just a backward term in the land for lava flow?

The Croyel.... Any other info on them?

I've just finished reading the escape from Bhrathairealm in the second chronicles. I was just wondering if there is any other information, either in the following books or other sources about that wierd creature that resembled a baby on the Kemper's back? Findail calls it a "Croyel, beings of h...

what I meant to say was cheers.... but they don't even really explain it!!!!! I hate the idea of the 2 creation stories both being true, i find them completely unreconsilable. Either the creator created the world, or its the byproduct of the worms greediness. Also, it says the worm sleeps for an eon...

Conflicting stories of creation?

I was always led to believe that the CREATOR was the one who created the earth. But i'm currently reading second chronicles and have heard pitchwife come off with a completely different story of creation, involving a giant worm roaming the cosmos who eats a load of stars then falls asleep, then the ...
