I thought that was odd too, all the official medal tables I've seen have China way out in front. This one flatters Australia a bit, too!

I'd imagine the under 30 hours one is by far the easier, and you can always go on to do the 100% afterwards. I gather you really have to focus on the missions to do it though, I've spent too much time doing side missions, going out with friends and trying to convince Kate to put out (unsuccessfully ...

The PS controllers force you to angle your wrists in and keep a lot of tension in your thumbs, which you have to pull quite high to reach the buttons, they're just a poor design from an ergonomic point of view. They are iconic, but I think Sony need to move on from the old design and again, there is...

Oh hot damn! We've got to make sandgorgons in Spore!

You don't need a dual core processor to run Spore though, just a 2GHz Pentium 4 or AMD equivalent (which would be one of the Athlon XPs between 2400 and 3200 I believe). The video card and RAM are pretty important too , though.

I find the 360 pads to be about perfect, not too big like the original Xbox ones but the ergonomics are pretty good (the only issue I get is a slight cramp in my right hand if I've been using that trigger a lot) and the build quality is excellent. Personally I find the PS3 controllers nasty, like I ...

That's pretty much the same experience I had, although I disagree that mouse and keyboard is superior. It was very quickly discovered in testing of the few games that pit Xbox 360 users against their PC counterparts that, although mouse and keyboard gave an aiming advantage, the 360's gamepad allowe...

On the theme of car pranks, once in the Rescue Service there was this guy who'd come down for the first time in ages and was being a real jerk. I was fed up of listening to him, so I waited until he went out on watch, then grabbed his car keys and a barrel of our marine two-stroke oil, which I poure...

Yeah, he's been much more careful about what he's revealed this time around. I think the major difference between Fable and Fable 2 is that, whereas Fable had content cut due to time and budgetary pressures, Fable 2 has been finished since about March and they've just been applying polish ever since...

I guess the patent still lies with Bruce Crower. There were a number of practical issues that needed to be addressed, namely that the water used would have to be very pure in order to prevent mineral deposits forming and then of course you'd need a network to distribute all of that purified water to...

I think my list would be fairly standard, dogs, cats, cows and horses are pretty standard. The only unusual ones I recall were a gerbil and a Blue Duiker, the world's smallest breed of deer.

I have a bit of a soft spot for Broad as he's from my home town and I know his dad, Chris, who also played for England. I hadn't seen Stuart for a long time until a couple of years ago, it was like he went from being a child to being 6'7", so I still double take when I see him. He's a nice kid,...

The big open world RPG for Q3 2008 that I was really getting worked up about was Fallout 3, but the more I read about Fable 2, the more psyched I am for it. Check out these previews: Fable 2 Preview Fable 2 Preview: Condoms, Combat and Doemstic Abuse And check out some of the more unusual and origin...

We could just set up a mini-league on the official Premier League fantasy football site, makes it easier than all faffing about with values and points etc.

I must admit I've been surprised with Sidebottom's dip in form, you expect it from sombody young like Broad but I thought we were going to start following the Australian model of only bringing players into the Test side when they're about 28, which works very well for them and promotes consistency. ...

Yeah, lockpicking is easy, don't ever pay anyone to do it. If I'm standing around in a city it's common for a trade window to just pop up unsolicited with a lockbox at the bottom. Some rogues get pissy about that but I don't mind, it's just two mouse clicks at the end of the day. The enchanting issu...

I've only been driving for 11 years, but I've owned nine cars in that time. This is partly because I spent a few years tuning and racing cars. I started with the Peugeot and made it into a fierce wee beastie, but I then picked up the Fiat and toned the Peugeot down again to make it more practical as...

I think had Michael Vaughan been in better batting form, he would've carried on until the next Ashes series and that's no bad thing. England were very unlucky to lose the series; if not for the catch that never was and the questionable pad/glove call it could've turned out very differently. I'm not ...

I think there weren't very many crash landings, as the Liberator wasn't capable of landing at all (that's why they teleported everywhere), but I think Servelan crashed a couple of times as did the Liberator's escape pods in the first episode of season 3. They always made them look good, which is qui...

I gather they're introducing a lot of new and very expensive items in order to take as much gold as they can out of the economy before the expansion. Blizzard have finally cottoned on to the idea that if they limit what gold is used for (i.e. trade materials, green and blue gear, repairs, food etc) ...

Knights of the Old Republic MMO confirmed Well I think most of us had guessed this already, but know it's confirmed. I have absolutely zero doubt that Bioware can produce another top notch KOTOR game, but making an MMO is another kettle of fish entirely. I'd hate for it to end up like Star Wars Gal...
