I am OK with moths, but wasps, no. I've lost count of the number of food items that have been lost (thrown some distance) because a wasp showed an interest. I was stung once. Sat on one on the tennis court at school. The teacher told me off for sitting down when I should have been playing tennis and sent me off for iodine.

Regarding FB, I use it a lot. I am in touch with most of my family there, and lots of old schoolfriends, some of whom I haven't seen for 40 years. It is a bit trying having to type everything twice, once there and once here. I could cut and paste of course. I'll pop over and report!
I am playing all the right notes, but not necessarily in the right order!

Funnily enough, the only time I've ever been stung by by bees has been from standing on them.

In fact, other than a scorpion sting once, that's the only time I've ever been stung by anything.

Not cool, Ali. Not cool.

Okay, it was sorta cool. It would've been cool if it wasn't a kite-sized moth. I'm just going to pretend it was a butterfly. It was a butterfly, wasn't it? Moths don't get that large. Except in low-budget movies. Movie prop moth, that's it.

8O I don't even remember this. Sorry it gave you the heebie-jeebies, though, Sorus.

I was joking. Mostly. Well, a little.

Wonder what happened to Pastor Tim!

I was really enjoying his "Brathairealm" thread.

I've looked at the member profiles a time or two and been amazed by the number who have never even posted the once! Why join and never post - is there something else other than posting that could explain the signing up?

The only forum I signed up for and never posted on was ASOIAF (Westeros). And I did it so I could keep track of what I had and hadn't read. But then I never ended up reading there all that much.

Welcome back, Zahir! I have read a number of your posts, but it's great that I can finally say hello to you! Very cool! :)

Well, best intentions and all of that. Also, some will be bots or spam posters who had their posts deleted.

Don't think we've 'met' zahir. Pleased to see you - you've clearly made an impact here in the past and I hope we get the chance to bounce ideas in the future. :)

Thanks so much! I am touched.

Since I was here last, I've written two plays and am working on a third. Carmilla, based on the vampire classic, has been produced three times now and is now offered by Off The Wall Plays. Noah's Cove will hopefully see a workshop production this year--a Southern Gothic Ghost Story (that may or may not involve an actual ghost). Now I'm working on The Dark Swans, about a possibly cursed viola and violin.
