I'm terrible these days about creating new topics. Probably because I usually start new topics whenever I'm fired up about something that might translate well to a good discussion. But most of the time, these days, I don't even think of it. Occasionally I'll start a new topic if I feel like there should be one but nobody has created it yet.
My history with topics seems to be all about timing. I've created a thread and gotten no responses, and then created a new thread with the exact same wording 6 months later and it sparks off a good discussion. Luck and timing. And usefulness. I think my most successful Caggie-created thread here has been in the hidden mod section for reporting spamming bastards.
Which depresses me.
