I have been looking at the statistics page a lot lately and every time I get a mild twinge of sadness when I notice how participation has dropped off progressively since 2008. I know all the reasons why, competition with other forms of social media etc, but it still bothers me just a little. It wasn't that long ago that this board had no problem boasting 4000 posts a month (which hasn't happened in 2 years) but now we struggle to reach 2000. I don't like the trend but all hope is not lost. When I see some 30 members listed as posting within the last 24 hours is reminds me that we may be down but we aren't out.

It sure would help if dANdeLION would quintuple post in every thread like he used to.

A: I don't believe I ever did that, and B: you are one of the most prolific posters that that dropped off.

I'm a bit disappointed that half the people who attended E-fest haven't even dropped in to say hi, and I'm not above guilt-tripping them because I miss them.

Is he? I saw his boss today, and he stayed home. He wasn't sick (car was temporarily unavailable), so when I got home I logged on here so I could rebut the dozens of false,d seditious and all too often malicious attacks.
