Is anyone interested in doing this?

Note that I have never played Heroes of the Storm and don't have any particular interest in doing so, but I do want the mount.

Also aware that most of the people reading this thread these days aren't in-game, but I have pestered the WoW folks to come back for the 15th anniversary and whatnot, so we'll see.

Can I do it if I have never or will never play WOW?
I'm not being snooty (although I am being obnoxious). I know I should never play WOW because of my videogame addictive personality. I'd prefer to keep in touch with my family and know if I dip my pinky-toe in by even creating a character, I'll regret it.
I am currently cursing my iPad purchase for downloading the damn "free" Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes app. Very glad I don't have a smartphone.

I think it would work as long as both players were Battle.net friends, but it isn't really clear since the promotion is definitely aimed at WoW players.

Speaking of Battle.net friends, I've gotten some recent requests from names I don't recognize. I don't usually accept requests unless I know who the person is. I know it's unlikely that it's anyone here, but I thought I'd ask anyway. Has anyone here sent me a Battle.net friend request, and what name is it under? You can PM me if you're not comfortable posting your Battletag publicly.

I don't feel ready for the patch. I thought it'd be another month or so out. I don't even know who my main is at this point. Night (DH) has the highest item level, but that's mainly due to RNG. I want to play my Druid, but she only hit 110 about a week ago, and I don't think she will be ready for the new content yet.

Doing world quests as boomkin with resto as my loot spec, and I am getting so much feral gear. I even got the feral hidden appearance today. I think they're trying to tell me something.

wow is making me tired. trying to keep up Madmaadalyn, Irvea, AND Mirrth is far too much work!!

and yet, I keep doing it.

and Mirrth, who I play the least got a friggin legendary head piece yesterday in an emissary box from the nightfallen! poor neglected Irv.

sorus you should work up an alliance healer and come do mythic pluses with jesse, larkoid, bleach and I!!! we misses you!!!!

(also, do NOT get roped into a +10 Anything!!!!! LOL!!!)

Yeah, that sounds painful. (Though the artifact appearance for doing a 15+ is one of my favorites.) I will confess, I am slacking this expac. I've done all the regular mythics, but I've never even done a +1. Haven't raided past the first boss in HoV. Part of that is my messed-up monitor, part is burnout. And a bit of RL stress making it difficult to focus. But I do miss you guys. And I miss raiding with the horde folks - did some old-content stuff yesterday and it made me realize how much I miss them, but I'm just not up for progression and I'm not willing to embarrass myself or drag the team down.

Don't you love RNG? I struggle to get upgrades on my priest, but my freakin' DH is constantly at the transmog guy getting her new piece to match.

I'm still torn over transferring my 'main' to Garona. I told myself I was waiting until payday (which was Friday). I told myself I'm waiting until I find the right new name, since some idiot already used her name on that server. I might be that idiot. I feel like I'm making excuses. Probably out of guilt because the old guild isn't 100% dead. Probably out of guilt since I'm the one that instigated the exodus. Which I don't really feel guilty about since there weren't enough of us to really do anything at that point anyway. Things change.

Don't mind me, I'm just talking to myself here.

I spent the last three days running around (and PvPing!) wearing a piece of cosmetic gear from DMF. It actually would have been nice if someone had yelled at me.

Finished the Legionfall Campaign on my Druid and got the new flight form. Not sure if I like it. First thought was 'radioactive mutant parakeet'.
