Hmm... I dunno. Guess they'd all be comedies - Black Books, Worst Week of My Life, Shameless, etc... I never really have favourites.

Yes, Cosmos played a big part in shaping my Weltanschauung. I was very saddened by Sagan's death in 1996. :(

Well since others have listed now defunct selections I will indulge likewise. You will find that all of my top 5 selections are entertainment based programs although I find Biography, NOVA, Anything on the Discovery Wings Channel and Antiques Roadshow very entertaining and informative. :D

1. The Simpsons
2. Futurama
3. The X-Files
4. Star Trek TOS
5. Seinfeld

Unless the criteria is refined further, I guess anything goes when listing "Top 5 Shows." Whatever. Lists are fun. What separates humans from apes is our astonishing ability to list stuff!

Yeah, I liked the Turtles too... Also Thundercats, Mask (where did that get to? I miss the flying cars)...I don't remember much else. The Simpsons was only on Sky when I was a kid, and we didn't (and don't) have Sky.
