Still, relatively speaking it doesn't get too bad here...even mid winter, daytime highs tend around 13-16. (It's only Autumn now.) Mins are around 0 though, so morning and nights are cold.
So freezing overnight and this morning. Had to run the heater this morning it was soooo cold. Not bad now .. got the door open tee hee
Thank the climate gods theres no flies this time of year.
Yeah theyre not stupid enough to be out and about when its freezing.
So when the sun was finally out we .. well I spent an hour and a half chasing the dogs to get the ball .. I think they actually prefer the chase ... ie me chasing them .. than chasing after the ball

Very foggy. Folks were breaking out the umbrellas today. It has to be raining pretty hard for me to join that crowd, but actual rain is forecast for Friday. As always, I will believe it when I see it.
IF it happens, and I'm not too worn out by then (two big IFs), I may try to get some shots for that video I was talking about somewhere above, since that would definitely be the last chance before October or November. (Otherwise I'm stuck trying to fake it with miniatures or something, and I know that isn't as easy as it looks.)
Oh, a change is coming, feel these doors now closing
Is there no world for tomorrow, if we wait for today?
We've had an unusual month of May. The long hot weeks were more like midsummer than spring. But this is England, and we pay for the heat with lots and lots of rain.
The weekend last saw the weirdest lightning storms I have ever seen.
After midnight there was the flickerflickerflicker of lightning, followed almost immediately by another flickerflickerflicker. And so continued this odd pattern for around an hour or two. No kidding, the thunder was a continuous rumble, somewhat like an imminent sneeze that never came.
It was as if the thunder proper was too high up in the atmosphere to connect. To be honest, maybe it was just as well. I had the impression the blast would have shook the ground like a earthquake.
Then with another mini heat wave (which I think means hot weather with lots of girls wearing short skirts), more thunderstorms will follow. <sigh>
