Thanks for the update, Menolly... good way of staying connected...

One of my old cats ate furniture. I suspect he had some form of pica, but he was always healthy and the vet could never make a definitive diagnosis. I guess with dogs that's just sorta normal. 8O

Don't let your cat into the bedroom.. You won't have anyplace to sleep on...
I guess they need their fiber also.

He was a licker, not a biter, and his sandpaper tongue was no joke. He wore down the arm of his favorite chair to the point where it was very noticeable, and you could hear him licking it from the other side of the house. Rasp, rasp, rasp. Try to get him to stop, and he'd just lean away a little in annoyance - can't you see I'm busy here? Tried that bitter apple stuff, and it took him about an hour to acquire a taste for it. Rasp, rasp, rasp, yuck, rasp, rasp, hey this stuff isn't bad. The only thing he didn't like was black pepper, so I'd be sprinkling pepper on the chair a couple of times a day. The things that become normal when you have pets. That worked for a few weeks, then he started eviscerating the cushions and eating the tasty foam filling.

It didn't deter her at all. She seemed to LOVE it even. She ruined two of my Macbook charging cables, which cost $80 each.

I'm surprised she never electrocuted herself. I noticed that every time she blinked her eyes, the blinking wasn't perfectly coordinated. One eye would blink, followed by the other eye half a second later. She doesn't seem quite right in the head. LOL
hahahahahahaha .. my son has a kitty that chews cords .. grrrr .. another costly habit 😂🙄😂

Ha, damn cats. I was rescuing a mouse from my ginger at 6am Sunday morning, which also entails a walk in the cold, in order to release said mouse where the cats won''t just immediately pick him up again.

Feeling as well as can be expected for a Monday morning. GF and I went for a spontaneous 10k hike on Saturday at a nearby(ish) nature reserve, was pleased to note we held up pretty well considering mountainous terrain and first proper exercise in..uh...at least a year. :D
