Given you say that with a smile I suspect that you are hoping to get plenty of miles out of whatever is making it long!
Or it might be suggested that you are reaping what you sow. Understanding that you are very religious, riding high on the karma cycle...

Today is not the day that I was hoping for. I had five primary objectives of which I was hoping to finish at least three of them, and yet they will all still be there tomorrow.

But on Sunday, WHoooeee. a really shitty day sunday. Like really shitty. I had a sewer pipe break at home. After finding the issue and dealing with a stack of effluent which had to be cleaned up, I had the smell and taste of sewerage all over me for about 5 hours.
All we can put the broken pipe down to is some sort of earthquake movement about a fortnight ago (3 on the richter scale about 50kms from home) as there was no other clear evidence of what went on. The build up eventually overflowed. fortunately the design of the plumbing did its job and it all over flowed outside. I pictured we would need to be digging up concrete paths and paved areas to fix the problem ($thousands) so had to wait until Monday to speak to my insurance company who conveniently only work general business hours M-F. When I did get them they said they would only cover me for subsequent damage but not the broken pipe. I drank some tea and chanted to Ganesh while dancing and hopping in a circle and I found that helped.
By the end of it all I was so smelly and shitty that even Charlie the dog gave me a wide berth.
Karma is a bitch. Sunday, I went without an inside shower to reduce the overflow, no dishwasher, no washing machine, and I made the family take 90 second light showers as opposed to their usual ridiculous long showers. There I am wondering what I had done to deserve this...
As it turns out, on Monday when a plumber arrived, he got at the problem straight away and we were back to normal in no time.
The pipe was an easy fix for a couple of hundred bucks and no insurance required. My imagination may have gotten away with me wondering what I had to deal with. When you cant see through the shit to diagnose the problem is frustrating. Next time I wont rush to kneel in it and stick my arms up it to the shoulder. Our shit stinks.

Gotta say its a nasty smell .. and I tell you another nasty smell that clings to your clothes and your hair .. and enters you everywhere, your mouth, your nose, deep inside your nasal passages .. death .. worse a dead body thats been percolating for a while before you locate it.

Very nasty indeed 😬

Looks like the anticipation was worse than the reality, so that's mostly good. :)

Yeah...a decomposing carcass is hands down the worst smell ever.

Today sucks turds .. 🙄 but I think tomorrow I might start back in on my greenhouse. Its been a nice cold but sunny day with blue, blue skies. So might be able to do the post hole digging and concreting tomorrow. 🤷‍♀️

Experiencing an extreme lack of motivation 🙄 thank god I dont suffer clinical depression or any form of depression actually. Cos how would you meet lifes challenges if that were the case.

My husband has an extreme clinical depression. I know it can be tough for him.

I have much love and respect for people who face life in the face of untenable challenges of all kinds. Truly amazing humans is what they indeed are.

Me .. Im just feeling a tidily down in the dumps. Tomorrow hopefully Ill be able to seize the new day and get some stuff done.

Are you sure Av?
We could organise some :Help: for you in the form of medicinal Friday methods :screwy: Maybe a happy cigarette with your second drink this Friday night?

I am heading home this afternoon, and I am potentially up for fun today.

 The happy cigarettes come first. :D And there isn't ever a 2nd drink. :D Or rarely anyway. About the only drinking I do is a glass of wine or a beer with dinner. The happy cigarettes suffice for all else. :D
