Sounds like it is the flavour of the ink. If any of the ink cartridges or dispensers resemble a sweet honey or sugar taste they may harm your teeth.
Also, remember to combine water with a richer type of soil that has been left to dry for a little while. A clayish dust is preferred, as this combination makes the best mud pies.
If that doesnt work, open the window and shout "Nom".
