Lucky you .. its great in the sun but nothing higher than 13C here so cold .. but if youre working outside in the sun .. youre throwing off layers and working in a tank top. Then by 3pm its getting cold again ..
Sky is blue, sun is out but only 11C today

Apparently a monsoon in another state has stirred stuff up and given us a chance of thunderstorms. I don't think we've ever had a thunderstorm in July, and it certainly doesn't look stormy outside now. Would like a good storm, but I don't expect much to come of it.
Oh, a change is coming, feel these doors now closing
Is there no world for tomorrow, if we wait for today?
Wow, cloud covered. Not seen for more than two months.
It's said the weather hasn't been this consistantly hot and dry since 1976. Odd how the sudden change coincided with England's exit from the world cup. Meh ...
July has the Thunder Moon (27th). Will be watching out for that one, could be a biggie.
Might be we're closer to the equator here than you are. (Actually, I don't know where you are in Aus, so maybe not...)

LOLS .. not close to the equator at all .. the Tropic of Capricorn goes through Northern Queensland .. Im on the south east coast, New South Wales .. an hour from the coast .. an hour and a half from Canberra .. between there and the coast
Temperate climate here .. not at all tropics .. though we do have rain forrests between us and the coast .. and our bush is speckled with ferns .. which I like cos its kinda more cool .. than just the dry Aussie bush.

I like the Aussie bush...reminds me very strongly of the SA bush. Scenery-wise, y'all could be in Africa.

It is .. and its kinda diverse too. So the centre and down south especially is a lot like SA. Along the SE coast its mostly rain forrests intermingled with bush .. which is where I am. Up north east its tropical forests and dry expanses.
Out the back of my property we have acres of crown lease which is all bush. Our propety is mostly established european gardens, and if I head east its rain forest if .. I head west its just bush. One of my fave things to do as the sun gos down is sit out back and watch the sun set over the gum trees, which apex all other trees within view. We celebrate such views with our happy hour

It has been a lovely weekend here .. sun up from 0011 to 1500hrs and weve been working outside while its warmer.
Today .. it is freezing .. no Ur Dead not literally but its 2C and its nearly midday .. brrrr .. very nasty ... shudders.
It was -4C at 0900hrs .. not my cuppa tea at all .. If I didnt have to GO outside itd be fine .. Id probably even enjoy the opportunity to have a fire roaring ..
but tbh the fire doesnt warm everything up all nice and toasty .. in here its ok but no where else. Then we do have the backdoor constantly open .. so the animals can get out through the doggie kitty door.
