I think the original question was really more about who has enough books that they could fill a bathtub - if necessary.
I'm not sure in what sort of situation that would actually be expedient... for reasons already elucidated, but... hey!

Oh dear how did you interpret the question thus Linna .. you really are a genius .. lol
seriously. I just thought it were a silly question about who doesnt bathe
ever at all .. so why not use the bath as a book repository But as far as volume goes, now that I have tossed all my law books, I could probably only fill maybe 2 or possibly 3 bathtubs .. but I wouldnt have anywhere near enough to spill over a 4 by 6 shower stall ..

I have made some effort to down size .. with the exception of the law and a great many religious books, I find it difficult to part with books generally.
But those I will never use again .. hold no sway on me at all.
