Tuesday here too (and when you posted that).

Same as yesterday basically, the Black Friday week is always a lot of work for marketers. :D

Thank you, Menolly! I've enjoyed the pie-a-tar sequences. Happy Thanksgiving! I will be working a double shift tomorrow at a busy casino restaurant, so no holiday for me, but at least I'll be able to relax on Friday and avoid all the shopping madness.

Thank you, Skyweir! For at least part of my "chill day", I hope to finish up my synopsis of the latest Forbidden Knowledge chapter dissection, and post my conclusions in the Ancillary Documentation subforum. Then it will be off to having a steak cook-out with some friends. BUt for today, I am going to be very busy helping others have a Happy Thanksgiving.

Boy am I tired! I was right off my face last night and couldn't sleep till around 3am. Then up at 5am to work a 10hr shift ... and I stayed on an extra hour's overtime

All I ate last night was veggies and noodles. It might have been a some fungus or maybe a psychotropic insect. I lay in bed twitching and grinding my teeth and buzzing from head to toe, unable to relax for fear of spinning off on a Kessel Run, and my hands felt like two balloons (like the song!) Very very strange.

I'm sure to sleep tonight.

Whoa thats worryingly strange Luke. Id keep a close eye on what youre feeling and maybe write it down in case you need to seek medical assistance.

It does sound like a drug induced experience.. lol 😂

Maybe change noodle brands lol .. even MSG can effect some people like that. Tends to give me a migraine and a bit of a buzz 🤷‍♀️

How lovely Cordy .. helping others enjoy thanksgiving 💗 I know youre working but 💯 respect for attitude. The cook out with friends is definitely the highlight .. ENJOY 😊

I was thinking the same thing! On both counts! Yeaaahhh, Cord Hurn!

Oh, Lazy Luke... that sounds brutal! And a 10 hour shift + overtime.
I hope you have slept great since making that post.

I'm having a kind of lazy but cheerful morning.
Last night there was a Thanksgiving get-together of the Chinese Church we've been involved with... and I'd been asked to talk for 5 minutes.. witness to what God has done for me...
So I talked about first becoming a Christian, and about God helping me through breast cancer after I was diagnosed in 2014.
I spoke in English, & was translated into Mandarin.
Like five people hugged me fiercely after that... one a grandmother who I barely know, though I see her each week. My translator said he was almost crying. And my closest friend there was, afterwards.
Moments like these are where you realize how much people love you.
So that was the highlight of my week.

otoh, I've got some math team responsibilities I've been sort of kicking myself about all week... I've not been doing some of the things I said or implied I was going to do, mainly sending a few e-mails / organizing things.

Brutal! Coming home from a hard day's work to find someone took a shit in the elevator, that's brutal.

Luckily we have two lifts.

Sam- yeahhh - thank you!
