It's snowing ash. I'm not complaining because there are a lot of people out there having a far worse day than I am, but this isn't normal and I don't want it to become normal. I think it is going to become normal.
Oh, a change is coming, feel these doors now closing
Is there no world for tomorrow, if we wait for today?

I'm not in any particular danger where I am except for the general air quality. Just glad my mum moved out-of-state, as she used to be close to where the biggest fire is, and that's stress I don't need.

Wet, with more rain to come.
Our Autumn is surprisingly still hanging around. Amazing blaze of colours this afternoon, with lots of sunshine.
Temperatures have been so mild walked into the village this evening to catch the bus. There was a fat crescent moon so low in the sky it sparkled through the tree boughs. Pretty cool.

We have apparently had almost an inch of rain in the last 24 hours, though most of it was overnight and while I was at work. Did get caught briefly on my way home from work - heavy rain here usually starts as a drizzle and works its way up, but this time it was just BAM, clouds opened up full blast out of nowhere. It didn't last long, but it was fun watching people scurry.
