It was 12 degress F ( -11 celsius) the other morning it warmed to about 27F (-3C) about mid-day.Skyweir wrote:But Im enjoying a beer in the shade at present
Today its a balmy 35F (1.7C).
With the cold weather I have been drinking more Porters and Stouts and less Ales and IPA's. I throw in some dry red wines in the mix here and there.

Where are you SB? That's effing cold!!!
It's smoky here - 5500 lightning strikes has ignited southern Tassie. Fortunately it's going to be 25C here today instead of stinking hot and windy, and we've had around 0.00000001mm of rain today, so that should help.
The forecast says we should get up to 2mm... hmmm, it's not going to help!

Im drinking crisp light draughts, Pilsners and largers .. perfect for the hot weather. I would definitely be drinking stouts in colder weather.
Oh StevieG thats nooo good. Sending all the positive hope I can .. I hate bushfires.
Ironically given the heat, storms we have had here... so far no bush fires this year. This is good
Yes I saw Tassie forecast for cooler weather ... and wished I was there. Is it as humid in the south as it is up north?
Working in 41C today .. good news is Im browning up.
Well brown for my skin type lol

Woke up at the crack of dawn by the noise of heavy rainfall. Nothing new as it's been raining since November.
Windy so the skies have cleared enough to see an almost perfect half-moon.
Incidently, when the moon has waned to it's crescent (around the end of the month) it will form a conjunction with Venus and Jupiter. A sight to see, if the early morning skies remain clear.
