I agree.
Lazy Luke, remember you told me to tell you when you were acting rudely and insensitively? Remember that? You're doing it right now.
I see where this thread went off the rails. [Syl] tried to follow your lead that you were a Raver. LL misunderstood his humor it seems.
If I were you, I would just reset this thread by re-introducing yourself in a more prosaic way. Or not, I would be pissed too. But if you've been sitting on some Chronicles questions or ideas that your dying to discuss, I would hang on.

With shame on my face, I ask for help. I've been going crazy for days, with it on the tip of my tongue. But I can't remember. I know I'll know, and smack myself for not being able to place it.wayfriend wrote: Lazy Luke, remember you told me to tell you when you were acting rudely and insensitively? Remember that? Not sure what it took to make you a 'Cock'. But there it is.Lazy Luke wrote:Manners! Guess I'll get my hat and switch to 'read only' while you sort your manners out.
Anyway, moving swiftly on I am sure there is a way to block your future responses.

I don't think there is a way to do that here. However, I highly recommend simply not reading posts by those whose words you do not want to read. It keeps me saner than I would otherwise be. It's literally no effort to not read a post.

Hail and welcome, Satansfist!
May you enjoy your stay here, and find discussion with us to be a stimulating and enjoyable experience! I would caution you to avoid any Stephen R. Donaldson forums that discuss books that you haven't yet finished, because you could encounter spoilers. Other than that, please feel welcome to discuss your insights with us, and further enrich the Watch! It's always wonderful to have another Donaldson fan aboard!!! The Donaldson short stories, mystery novels, and novellas are discussed in the forum General SRD Discussion and Other Works.
As for the basically non-Donaldson parts of the Watch, here's some other areas you may be interested in:
The Loresraat - science/technology
The Galley - cooking/beverages
Vespers - music appreciation
Doriendor Corishev - history
The Close - religion/philosophy
The Hall of Gifts - creative writing
Hile Troy's Think-Tank - politics/current events
Welcome again, Satansfist, and thank you for taking the time to say hello and giving us a chance!
