Honestly, I'm the same way. I usually have to have someone push me out of a bad situation, but once you do, and you actually find a good place, it makes it all so much worth it.Sorus wrote:Yeah, it could be worse has basically been my mantra for the last 10 years or so.
Not necessarily a good thing because it makes me afraid to take any sort of risk that might lead to things being better.
You guys made me think of Brazil... I gotta add that to my movie list to show my fiance, she's got little movie experience.Sorus wrote:Ugh. I was working in the dark most of the week because there was a power fault in the motion detector for our lighting system, and no manual switch. They finally fixed it yesterday (after I managed to set a pallet down on my foot; I really need to invest in a good pair of steel-toe boots).Avatar wrote:
Got to work on Wednesday, to find the geyser had burst, and the office was a couple inches deep in water.
My mantra for most of the week was at least it isn't sewage/water coming out of the walls. Or ceiling.

They were awesome.
Thanks Av! They offered it to me just an hour ago! Full time, but temp which is perfect for us right now. Get a little nest egg and start looking at land/house.Avatar wrote:Haha, yeah, that's pretty much what it looked like.
Good luck with the job. And no, we don't do that at work.
Anyway, Friday, hooray. And it's my birthday on Wed, which we get off, so I have taken off Monday and Tuesday for an extra long weekend.
