I live in Colorado where pot is legal, and while I don't touch the stuff, my wife has been a big pothead for a while. Her consumption is way down these days, but whenever she does get something, I always want to know the names. I've never been in a shop, which are just about everywhere here, but I just really want to go in and browse and see all the silly names.

Life is a waste of time
Time is a waste of life
So get wasted all of the time
And you'll have the time of your life

My week is actually looking up. I've been getting more gigs with the schools, so I should have a little money coming in at the end of next month. And Hyperception bought Beorn a round trip airline ticket for a two week visit starting the night of the 25th!
SD, dam-sel, and I are going to need to get used to having a fourth person in the house again. But, it's been a few years since Beorn and I have visited, so I'm excited!
B"H, my health is currently in a good place, after the issues of the past several years. We should be able to focus on just being together, without concerns overwhelming the visit.

Oh, Menolly, that's awesome!!
you've missed that son of yours!
"People without hope not only don't write novels, but what is more to the point, they don't read them.
They don't take long looks at anything, because they lack the courage.
The way to despair is to refuse to have any kind of experience, and the novel, of course, is a way to have experience."
-Flannery O'Connor
"In spite of much that militates against quietness there are people who still read books. They are the people who keep me going."
-Elisabeth Elliot, Preface, "A Chance to Die: The Life and Legacy of Amy Carmichael"

Remember when I posted about the tornado in my area and the damage
it did to my roof and vinyl siding?
Well.. We had 50 MPH winds whipped thru the area and that was
enough to ripoff some more of the siding. Same damaged area. Seems the tornado did a little more denailing in the areas of the siding than expected.
Now I have to deal with the insurance and contractor again..
Lucky no work has been done but the hassle of reopening my claim really starts the blood to simmer..
Just enough to make me spell bad.

Short explanation is that the children were black and the po-po were white.
One more leg of travel and then we have a couple of weeks in Central NY State to catch up on sleep and exercise. We did a couple of eye-bleach activities, the NY Botanical Garden and the Newark Museum.

you're more advanced than a cockroach,
have you ever tried explaining yourself
to one of them?

i've had this with actors before, on the set,
where they get upset about the [size of my]
trailer, and i'm always like...take my trailer,
cause... i'm from Kentucky
and that's not what we brag about.
