I'm halfway convinced that teeth are a scam. Had that tooth nightmare again a couple of nights ago. And then last night, had a work dream where I basically went through the entire day and expected it to be Wednesday when I woke up. But no, bonus Tuesday. There ought to be a law.
Oh, a change is coming, feel these doors now closing
Is there no world for tomorrow, if we wait for today?

Sometimes the darn things are just a time bomb. I got bad tooth genes from both sides of my family. Always treated them well. Until I was 27, aside from a single cavity, the only issue I'd had was with my wisdom teeth. Then when I hit 27, the warranty on my teeth and health in general must have expired, because it's been downhill ever since.

This was me, as well. I even mentioned I wanted to be able to afford having my teeth totally worked on long before I knew I needed dentures at the first elohimfest I attended.

Independence Day was interesting. Beorn is visiting from Florida, and while we had a quiet day planned, I didn't expect it to be as quiet as it turned out. Unfortunately, Independence Day decided to be the day I had my first all out cold since I was diagnosed with the leukemia two years ago. Temperature fluctuated between 101.4 F and 102.3 F, according to our temporal scanner. My paperwork says to not take any fever reducing medications without first talking to one of the medical providers.
Being a holiday, I decided to tough it out, rather than call the attending physician. I did email my hematologist, though and heard back from her at 5:00 in the morning today. I now know that acetaminophen is OK, as long as the fever is higher than 101.0. Otherwise, she wants it to burn itself out.
So, yesterday was me staying in bed, and Beorn keeping himself occupied. Currently I'm running a low grade fever of 100.2 F or so, so I'm also taking it easy today. I'm hoping I'm on the mend, though, and that Beorn and I will be able to do something tomorrow.

Oh, yes.
SD did push one acetaminophen on me yesterday, before I found my paperwork saying not to take any until speaking with a medical provider. It didn't seem to have much affect, as the temperature remained pretty high throughout the day yesterday. But, at least my hematologist verified doing so did no harm.

No harm?
Faint praise at best. Fever spikes were blunted, she felt somewhat better for the following hours, and the recovery continued into the next day, even without further dosing.
I see her; she resists medication, but this helped her condition.
