To be clear I was not intending to put the song down. I like it a lot. In fact it was one of my favorite "radio" new wave songs of that time. Most of the post-punk & new wave stuff I listened to barely made it to the college radio stations let alone mainstream. (Not that I am an elitist new wave snob, mind you...) Rather, my comment came from having watched an interview with Mr. Tutone only a few years back in which he said something to the effect that he felt an obligation to continue to tour since so many people never got a chance to see him and wanted to hear his classic hit. While he looked like a seventy year old Art Garfunkle he still had the rock star attitude and the same sunglasses on that he sported in the 80's.
