My name...well....I didn't actually come up with it, a friend did...the same friend who got me hooked on SRD's writing, so, in a way, it's appropriate. Anyway, I've been using "Iryssa" online for a little over a year now, so I suppose it was mostly out of habit that I used it here.

Fizban is the human descended avatar of the god of light an good, paladine, creator in the world of Krynn & Dragonlance. He appears as a befuddled old wizard, who has a poor memory, always confused, and ever ready to attack using his *puffball spell attack. He is friendly and kind and wise beyond wise, yet despite his curmudgeoan like appearance, he has great power and doesnt hesitate to interfere and descend down to the earth to right the wrongs that other gods have stirred up.
I always found him to be amusing and fun, the hat part comes from the fact that he's always losing his hat, many times while he's wearing them, asside from that I figured, this guy is THE god, and well, if he can descend the ethereal plane to help out some heroes, I'm pretty sure his hat can talk and well there you have it.......cheers.

You do not hear, and so you cannot be redeemed.
In the name of their ancient pride and humiliation, they had made commitments with no possible outcome except bereavement.
He knew only that they had never striven to reject the boundaries of themselves.

I really enjoy reading about the Haurchi, and for some reason cail stuck with me the whole series and i found that i really really liked him. He might be a simple character compared to many, but he stuck out more then the others, and he was different for a haurchi. 84 is just my football number

His response: "Holy $&!^. He's not kidding! Look at all these muffins!"

I found this site shortly after beginning my latest re-read of TCoTC, so I kept my eye out for anything I could use for a nickname that hadn't already been taken.
I failed.
So I decided to take something from the Gap series. Unfortunately, that one has a shortage of characters I wanted to be associated with. Dios was taken, so I decided to be a warship. Plus I could get my avatar from the back of book 3 :)

"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”
