Hmmm, have seen that, and will consider...not sure how I feel about another series that is only just starting... :D

Reading Jingo now, 'cause you can't read just one Terry Pratchett. :D

It's a complete novel on its own, and very satisfying. The other coming novels are other characters' adventures and such. Go for it :D

Good to know, I think I shall add it to my next order, thanks. (I remember Murrin recommending it some time ago, but I hadn't realised it was going to be a "series")

(I guess I shall read The Last Continent next, since I haven't replaced my 5th Elephant since it was in the bag that was stolen from my car...I was reading it at the time, and apart from the quite expensive med kit I kept in the boot (trunk), (and the bag itself which was sentimental) it's the only thing I was annoyed about losing. :D

I honestly don't know how I would deal with such a tragedy.

Eh, price of living in SA really.

Finished Last Continent and moved onto something else, which is getting off lightly for a Pratchett read. :D

Started Outlander, will see how it goes.

Ever read Lev Grossman's The Magicians, Av? Just finished it and can give it the thumbs up. Harry Potter for adults sums it up.

Nah, never heard of it. Will keep an eye out. Still, Rivers of London is my go-to "Harry Potter for Adults" series. ;)

(Oh, Outlander book 5 now...The Fiery Cross.)

That reminds me, I was enjoying the show for the first two seasons, but haven't seen 3 or beyond. I wonder how many seasons they're up to now.

Don't know if anyone's talked about it, bit I'm reading The Dark Forest, book two in The Three-Body Problem by the Chinese writer Liu Cixin. The title refers to the three-body problem in orbital mechanics. It is the first novel of the Remembrance of Earth's Past trilogy, but Chinese readers generally refer to the whole series as The Three-Body Problem. Rumor has it that “Game of Thrones” creators David Benioff and D.B. Weiss (and Alexander Woo) are adapting it and it should be released as a series on Netflix in 2022. Cixic...is in a bunch of hot water for siding with the Chinese Govt. re the Uyghur Muslims...
