Had some hectic electrical storms the last few nights...night before last I counted a lightning strike every 2 seconds for a good 5 mins+.

Been a nice break to the summer heat at least.

Otherwise, meh... :D

If anyone is interested, the videos for two of the performances of The Prince and The Pauper, where I played two roles is available. From what I understand, pnp1 is the preferred performance over pnp2.

I feel like today was Monday squared. Let's leave it at that. Now that I've got a glass of wine in me and no longer give a rip about things people were fussing about at work... it's finally Tuesday evening, very pleasant, the lovebirds twittering and the parrot mocking everyone. I'm reading Malazan. Christmas is coming!

btw I'll be a grandmother any day now!!! Today was the due date, but my son was 10 days late so I'm not holding my breath.

Upses and downses. Friday we had two COVID positive students and we closed school 3 days early. Over the weekend it became apparent that we can't at all be sure we're going to be able to fly out of Nigeria because the transportation minister is a whiny, posturing toddler who uses the word "reciprocal" to mean "tit-for-tat". Stag of the Dawn became ill enough that he took a COVID test (negative, thank God).

Today, my granddaughter was born!!!!!! :D :D :D 9 lbs, 2 oz. Then a PTA WhatsApp group I'm in for school blew up with ridiculous drama. I had been led to believe that these were adults I was dealing with, not a bunch of aging Mean Girls. And Stag decided he probably has malaria, not just a cold.

All in all, granddaughter wins, everything else can go hang. :D :D :D

Last time sharing the play I was in. Here's the upload to YouTube. Both the audio and video seems much improved.

Weekend. Leave. Long(ish) holiday shortly to take effect. So that's good.

On the not so good front, the GF's grandfather died last night, been expecting it for a while now, so not unprepared at least, but sad for her nonetheless of course.

hmm...
Serious question:
Which comes first at midnight on January 1st? New Year's wishes or Rabbit thrice?

Never mind.
New Year's wishes, or Jumanji this year, at midnight. Rabbit thrice when one awakens later in the day.

How time flies...I've gone from enjoying my time off to being annoyed that I have to go back to work at the end of this week. :D

Damnit...
