Thats rocking. You will finish them all before I finish book 3.
Although, retiring in 3 weeks so my reading time after that will increase substantially.

and what does that mean? It'll take you three days to read it instead of two?

What fantasy/science fiction book are you reading RIGHT NOW?
Haha, it usually means it takes longer, although in the Malazan case, perhaps not.
(That said, despite my intentions, it's always harder to skim even the boring bits than I think it's going to be, and both here and in MT I have read more of them than I intended.)
Anyway, I'm abut 350 pages in so far, so I expect about a week or so again, maybe a little longer.

Well, started Return of the Crimson Guard last night, so pretty accurate guess. ![Very Happy :D](./images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif)
I may revise my opinion of Reapers Gale...I enjoyed it more this time round. Tragic of course, but then, they all are.

Started book 3 Memories of Ice. Only about 5% in but my reading time has increased but we were so busy with retirement and retirement parties, that I haven't read as much as I thought I would. I suspect that will change a lot over the next couple of weeks.

What fantasy/science fiction book are you reading RIGHT NOW?
I just finished a biography of Prince Phillip that was pretty interesting but I've been on a fiction hiatus for so many years that I figured it was time to pick up some new ones.
I picked up 2 books - Lies of Locke Lamora and A Court of Thornes and Roses. The latter wasn't something I was too interested in because it's romancy but it's turned out to be a pretty good little story. Easy and quick little summer read without all the typical female romance tropes that typically make me hurl. I'm going to finish that one up before I pick up Locke Lamora.
I have my summer reading list, though:
The Way of Kings, Brandon Sanderson
Sword of Kaigen M.L. Wang
11/22/63 Stephen King
Shadow of the Gods John Gwynne

The King has one more move.
