This is one of my all time favourite films and books. In my top ten on both counts and I always buy a copy of the book for people I loooove.
The reality is in this head. Mine. I'm the projector at the planetarium, all the closed little universe visible in the circle of that stage is coming out of my mouth, eyes, and sometimes other orifices also.

I pulled along side him at a red light, and beeped for him to roll down his window. He looked kinda like, "What the heck does this guy want." I said, "Rodents of unusual size?" It took him a few seconds to figure out what I was talking about. Then he broke into a big smile and nodded.

Timing, as they say in the trade, is everything. Stephen King has an article in this week's Entertainment Weekly. (Maybe he has a column, for all I know.) He asked people to send in their favorite movie lines. 3,000 responses, "each containing as many as 10 movie lines that readers remember fondly," came up with this as #1:
