Thanks CovenantJr~! I'm gonna' have a good look around and am still somewhat in shock at this news -- always a great thing to have such positive shocks in our lives, eh~?! :D

Thanks for the suggestion~! 8)

Thanks! I've been reading a lot of really good and thoughtful posts on this forum, and now I'm about ready to jump back into reading the series again (actually got to about page 50 of Lord Foul's Bane before stumbling across this site)~!

One good thing I can say about school starting soon is that it'll help me keep pretty occupied as I anxiously await the new book~! :D

Thanks again! 8)

While undergoing your reread you might want to check out the forum called Dissecting the Land. It is where we have ripped apart the chronicles chapter by chapter. We are now on WGW. PLease feel free to add comments to any of the chapters. :)

Okay, you guys have motivated me (in the midst all my college-is-starting-stressing it's been hard to get motivated to do ANYTHING...even post here, apparently). I'm starting my third read-through of TCTC....NOW! Okay, maybe not...in like 30min when I'm done online...but then for sure! Anyway, when I catch up to you all in the dissection I may join ya!

I am glad SD is writing these new books! I just started to read the first two chronicles. I am about two thirds of the way through The One Tree. I found these forums just the other day and was happy to see he writing more. These books are very interesting! Hello to all in the land! :)

Hey! That's SRD. All good fantasy writers have to have at least one R as middle initial ;)

I liked Book 1 of Chronicle 1, when the Land was completely intact. I hope SRD has places in the Last Chronicles where the gloom and dismal doom are relieved by the beauty and power of the Land.

In other words, I'm looking for a happy ending.

Welcome to the Watch. :D

I wouldn't count on it. The happy ending anyway. In fact, I might be a bit let down.

A HAPPY ending? That I doubt. Equalibrium is the best we can hope for here. Linden and TC in the land...Jeremiah back in the "real world". The land healing or reborn.

I'm just too impatient. The cliffhanger at the end of Runes did me in. Worse by far than ANY TV series cliffhanger EVER. You don't have to wait 3 YEARS to see where THOSE end. And tentative dates put the other books at 3 years apart, too??? Jeez, I'm not getting any younger!!!! SRD will be, what, in his mid-60's then? Is this his 401k or something? All joking aside, whatever is necessary to get them to SRD's satisfaction, I am sure it will be worth the wait. I will just continue to tap my feet and drum my fingers until then.........
Heard my ears aright? Did not the gaddhi grant me this glaive?
