My initial reaction is to agree with you here, dlbpharmd, but suddenly, I'm not so sure.

Not having my copy of TOT at hand, I'm open to correction, but they do say that the gift of tongues was gained by the teaching of a simple knot.

My memory is prodding me into saying that Honniscrave was present at this teaching. But as I said, I certainly won't swear to it. Will have to look it up.

Aah, so Honninscrave was there for the teaching of the knot, but that wasn't what got them the gift of tongues.
