Two days?! It took me a year to read the full set so far, so using that as a guide, it'll take me...about 2 months to read Runes.
I don't necessarily read fast, I simply don't put it down. I've been known to stay up all night reading. None of this 3am sissy stuff either ; I wake up at 8, do whatever I have to do for the day (reading as often as I can), and when evening comes...forget food, rest, or the outside world! I've just go to find out what's gonna happen next! If it takes me until I have to be up for work in the morning, so be it! *grin*

I plan on buying it the day it comes out, mob SRD when he's on book tour, and then promptly fail my fall semester because I'm not going to be able to do anything besides read Runes. Heh.-jay
One thing is for certain....I've read Chapter One of the Prologue so many times that when I finally sit down to read Runes I'll just skip to Chapter Two.
Well, well, well. At least my family and Damelon will not have to drag me kicking and screaming away from my copy of Runes when I will be in Chicago for the weekend now.
Lesse.... I have to finish TPTP and ALL the second chronicles before I read Runes.....
AHHHHHHHHHH I better get on it!!!!
Cause once I pick it up, I am NOT putting it down!!

I have little life.
I am simply a deed:
an action done while courage holds:
a seed.
My plans are pretty much still the same - I managed to get time off from work, and I'm going to cocoon myself somewhere quiet, with every intention on devouring this book as fast as possible.
Having got my first credit card this year, I recently put in my very first order on Amazon.co.uk - for RotE and Iain M Banks' The Algebraist. I guess I'll be reading it shortly after they deliver it to me (or after I pick it up from the Post Office depot - I can't see the postman squeezing it through the letterbox). Unless there's a huge delay, it'll be well worth the £8 saving. I can see myself finishing it off that weekend (assuming I get it then, of course).
