Herein lies Mouseglove's all-too-recently-finished review of RotE:
Sunday night: Get book. Salivate. Drive home. Open book. Sniff. Sigh. Read.
Monday afternoon: Swear to savor the book, read slowly and in little bits. Excitement mounting. 50 pages in. Impatient. Grinning.
Monday night: Too tired to do anything, but reading in bed sounds good. Finish over half the book. Lots of scratching my head and swearing softly under my breath.
Tuesday morning: Read a bit more. (Bit = 3rd quarter of the book). Eat breakfast. Decide to read a bit more (same amount of bit).
Tuesday noon-ish: Finish book. Grin. Reality dawns. Shout. Begin cursing SRD (softly) for being such a cruel man as to leave me to wait HOWEVER long it will be until the second book comes out, all based on the last page!
Fabulous book. Cruel author. Will say something to him in March when I see him. Will tell Perry I think she turned out really well considering how cruel a person her old man is.
As I said to my wife, "It's not like I wasn't ALREADY going to read the next book. Sheesh. He's just mean!"
