does love suffice

Post by algini »

does love suffice
does broken dreams
and calamities
fade when love
beckons with just
a whisper
here, here

does love suffice
when pain and sorrow
wash away the tears
when anguish moans
are heard within
the echoing dream
that speaks of
sorrow, despair

does love suffice
when nothing stands
between the darkness
and the abyss
when just a step
is taken
and all life
becomes This

does love suffice?

In the end, I like to think that it does. It may not. But we should live as though it does.

Not bad.

In all things, good and bad,
I myself have found
no matter how deep the wound
no matter how deep the pain
Love lives on.

The Ideal, the Hope, the projected Joy
The strength, to go ahead with life
in any way
Has to be powered by Love
or the batteries give out too quickly.

There may be anger, rage, tears,
self pity or even self loathing,
but the Love still stands there
wanting still to be the Ideal, the goal,
source, the strength of all I need.

I think that Love itself, Love, for Love's sake,
LOVE, for dear life!
Love is always more, yes, more than enough.
