Post by Steve Hurtloam »

.... even on threads in the "Runes" section that is clearly marked that there will be spoilers?

Because there were complaints about the Runes spoilers in the Runes forum from...gah, I forget the name now. In any case, he was really insistent.

Not sure Steve, although there may be some people who haven't read the whole book yet. :?

Oh, and welcome to the Watch my friend. Be true. :D

It begins with an 'I' and ends with 'nsanity Falls'.

Anyway, welcome, Steve. Some of those spoilers are less to do with Runes and more to do with the whole Last Chronicles series, which some people didn't want to know so much about before they read the rest of the books.

Thanks, I figured it was something like that. Thanks for the welcome. I guess we're all going to be here for a long time huh? When's the last book coming out? When's the movie coming out?

Hehehe... glad to be a part of this site. I don't know enough TC fans in real life. (That whole raping Lena thing scared some off from the first book - really.)

Thanks again!

Most of the problem came form interviews that SRD has given over the years in which he gave his thoughts on the nature of TC's existence. Those of us who've kept up with SRD over the years had read those interviews and were discussing some of the comments that he had made. Certain people had never read those comments and were offended, primarily because they felt that the information being discussed was spoiler material.

If we were discussing the merits of banning someone or something like that, I'd leap to second your comment, VS. As it stands, I don't think mentioning that an absentee member had a well-documented gripe is a big issue :)
