During the Soothell, Covenant comes to the realization that the Ramen and Ranhyn left right when the Sunbane arrived. If there is a Third Chronicles, they will probably be back.

what I dont get is this :

if Coursers were once, say horses (horses for Coursers hehe), that means that a bunch of horses would have been warped into one consistent form ... so how come humans are warped into all manner of different foul forms ?

Coursers were intentionally made by the Riders, thus the consistent form. It's possible that they were once horses, but we have no way of knowing.
