Thanks, Fist and Av. I have been just swamped lately. That and I just got my heart broken (again) tonight, so I don't feel much like typing now. I'm going to bed to lick my wounds. Peace to all and blessed be.

The journey of a thousand miles begins with a broken fan belt and a leaky tire.
I know only time can heal such things (a friend broke my heart in December and I am still crying about it quite regularly ) but I hope that the time will come when you can laugh and sing and dance again -- and I hope that time will come relatively soon!
Thanks, everyone- I feel better already. It takes more than a broken heart keep a good witch down for long... Like Av said- I always have the Watch! Here is a spell for all the rest of us who have had this happen to them (ie all of us).
To help get over an old loved one.
You Will Need:
1 red candle for strength
2 white candles for healing
A piece of paper with the persons name written on it
The Spell:
Now you begin by placing the s white candles left and right from the red then you light the red candle, left white, then right white candle while you are chanting these words:
"I burn thy name so it shall be
cast out of my memory
(name of person) your name is as cold as ice
to get over you would be nice"
This spell works best midnight during a full moon.

Hi, Kymbierlee. I was with my Wiccan friend yesterday and she mentioned she would be celebrating Beltane (the ancient Gaelic holiday) next week. So, in case you're also observing Beltane, I wish you the best! Hope it will be a peaceful and rejuvenating time for you.
Strength, Beauty and Power to you, Kymbierlee. *bows*
I have followed this thread with interest. I extend my gratitude to all. To behonest , at this point of the typing I am getting the oft feeling that I am no longer the one typing ,something else making its presense known.
I have , what i believe to be, known Wicca, that is there have been women that I have acquaintences with who I believe to be Wicca. But, often wondered, how does one approach the question? In every case, the acquaintences made it readily apparent that for whatever reasons, they wished no part of me. I don't understand,,I bathe once a month whether I need it or not, true , I'm ugly as sin,but thats only skin deep and I am saving up to get this hump on my back removed some day.
I took notice of your mention of obsidan Kim. A new manager here, divorced etc, seems to always have something of obsidian on wrist, finger or ear. My intuition suggested she is Wicca, long before I noticed the black stone. My question is, is there a phrase, a comment, that I could drop in the presense of any such women who I have intuitivedly leaped, and any reply to listen for that may suggest an acknowledgement?
I have considered " Blessed Be" only because I have heard the phrase repeated by another proclaimed Wicca and I notice , you, Kim, use it also.
Asking outrite in this professional environment, even if alone, could be a career path destroyer. Yeow, this sounding alot like " Dear Abbey". I apologize if it does. Obviously, if I have to ask the question, then I am outside. But, as I read thru these posts I get the feeling there is no real outside..thanks...MEL
Dude, I'm well outside any religion, wicca or otherwise. I can tell you: If it feels right to you, it probably is. Lurch, I'm slightly worried about curses being thrown my way... It's worrying about curses, wiccan, Paulist, or otherwise, that give them their power, not those who send them, whether they be a priest or cat-sacrificer.
Lurch- Try asking her about the stone. Just ask if it is obsidian, and why she wears it. If she's Pagan, she'll probably give it away right then and there. Ask her if it is a special stone to her religion. You can easily bring the topic up without being offensive. If she doesn't seem interested in pursuing it, let it drop. Most witches will talk your ear off if they get an inkling that you are interested, though, so be prepared!
BB!

PS If you want to greet her in a witchy way, try "Merry Meet." If she is a witch, she'll know this phrase. If not, it's obscure enough you won't cause any harm.
Thanks for the Beltane wishes, MM! Blessed and joyous day to you as well.
Plisskin- where is PDX?
Duchess- yes he is great. This world needs a few more like him.
Fist-

Duchess-
I truly think we should continue the Fisty love fest and see how much we can embarass him! He might have to use three or four blushing emoticons soon!
