Feeling pretty damn good. I've begun revising my unfinished novel (it's at 120,000 words). I'm revising it because I stopped writing it so long ago (around 2002), and my style has matured considerably since then. Once I finish brushing up the manuscript, I'll pick up where I left off (when I stopped writing, I was nearing the climax).

I should reach its denouement by the end of this year. My only hope is that I'm able to fit everything I want into it, without making it look bloated. So far so good.

Last day of the work week, and only two more hours to go. :) Feels good. :) Tomorrow I will bundle up in a couple of sweaters and sit outside with a book and the dog for awhile. 8)

Went to the music store before work today and found some cool looking new stuff to listen to, so I might bring a boombox outside with me, too, and blast the neighbors with some very loud classical music.

Both of my sons' first words were Dada, Mama, and Baba (bottle). I think it took awhile to move onto words like "poop".

Sense of accomplishment. Just turned 3 reviews in for critique. Now maybe I might step outside my apartment for the first time in a couple of days.

Headache, stomach ache, nausea. Came home from work early because I wasn't getting anything done.

Sitting in front of a computer screen is not usually a good cure for headaches, you know. ;)

Well, its turned out to be a rather chilly, cloudy day, so I think I will stay inside with a book, some quiet jazz, and cuddle with the cats instead. :)

Days off from work are so remarkably good!!!!! 8)

Ah, the horrors of spring allergies?? :( :( :(

When I get bad sinus problems from my allergies what helps me best:

one claritin tablet (or, if bedtime, two benadryls)
two tylenols
two motrins
one sudafed (only if extremely congested)
(I know it sounds nuts, but the tylenol and the motrin seem to work better for me when used together)

Make a mug of very hot tea, and breath in the steam...super hot showers with the water running over your head help, too...

And lying down in a very dark and quiet place can be heavenly...

How can you manage to survive springtime? I never suffered allergies until know.
Thanks Dutchess, I'll try the mix, hey if I don't get better, at least I will feel happy

So much for springtime :x

Allergies are the least of what I dislike about springtime.

Mostly, it's the sun slanting the wrong way and that "warm-sunshine-spring-fresh" smell that brings back very bad feelings, the source of which I cannot pin. I think it all has to do with high school. I truly wish that the sense of smell weren't such a damned strong memory trigger. Then again, little instils me with happiness quite like the smell of rain on a cool afternoon.

*grumbles* Unfortunately, it's not raining.

Ooh! Ooh! Happy thought! I put some bumper stickers on my new truck! Doesn't make up for the ones I lost with the old one... but nothing says "screw you" like My Horse Bucked Off Your Honor Student

Never had any allergies (including poison ivy). Been lucky so far. Well, I ate too much yesterday, so I feel kind of bloated. Going to cut back on what I eat today and jog a few more laps than usual, to balance it out. Should be feeling better, then.
