Am I the only one from The Netherlands?

Post by Dilthey »

Hi everybody,

I was wondering if I was the only one from the Netherlands on this forum. A country of 16 milion people should have more people who like SRD.

Many greetings,

Dilthey

I know your post was from several months ago, but I figured I would reply anyway since I just joined today :)

I am not Dutch, but lived in The Netherlands from 2000-2002. I enjoyed it immensely.... I would move back in a heartbeat. Learned een beetje nederlands ook, maar niet genog :)

I first found The Gap series in The Netherlands while shopping at the American Bookstore in Den Haag, and have read the entire series 3 times since. I had long been a Thomas Covenant fan before that.

Doie,

Ah after all this time I am utterly alone. Someone is able to understad my language, at least partialy. But none are like me. I am alone in the land.

But enough of that dpressing talk, I'm also unique. Jay

But if you're all about the destination, then take a fucking flight.
We're going nowhere slowly, but we're seeing all the sights.
And we're definitely going to hell, but we'll have all the best stories to tell.

But aren't the Danish from Denmark? ;)
Or are they mostly from Entenmann's?

But anyway, Hail and Welcome, Dilthey!

Umm, sure you can. Entenmann's Danish is always fresh and tasty.
That's what you meant, right? 8)

hey

one other Dutchie here!!

I started out with Covenant and loved it. Read the library-versions three times and then I found 6 of the 7 books in a store...and today (after almost 10 years) I just completed a deal which will send me the last book of the second chronicles...now I am finally able to read them all again!!!

I just found out that 4 more books are planned about Covenant!! Very cool!!! I do hope they will be translated in Dutch though!!!

I also have the first three translated and amazing GAP-books...

I searched everywhere for the remaining parts but found out that only three of the five books were translated :(

Anybody have some GAP-books spare? :)
