Graphic novels are hard to find around here. I have TDKR by Miller and I love it.

Loremaster,

The nearest comic shop has it (obviously), so I might have to pick it up.

dlb,

Amazon has practically every graphic novel. :)

Definitely my favourite, and, IMHO, one of the best. Look for the panel where the blood has dripped from a cut, and splashed into a little puddle. Awesome! (haha, I tried brevity for a change, thinking that just the title, in context of the posts before, would suggest my feelings. ;) )

On the subject of graphic novels, (not Batman though), I heartily recommend Chopper: The Song of the Surfer. Love that one. (2000AD style).

I'm still trying to find the Hedge Knight and Sworn Sword graphic novels......

Someone has drawn Christopher Eccleston (from Dr Who) as the Joker:

Loremaster,

That could work. Still, as far as voice goes, I'd still pick Mark Hamill for the part. See the Animated Series.

Wow, I'm not a big Batman movie fan, I thought they were all pretty dumb (altho I did get a kick out of Jim Carey as the Riddler)

But, this movie, was fantastic. They finally got it right, they made a Batman movie ABOUT Batman. Christain Bale was awesome (those who think he should play Covenant if a movie is ever made...i'm with you now..tho I still don't think a movie can be made, but that's another thread ;) ).

The rest of the cast was awesome as well...what a nice surprise to see Morgan Freeman :)

Anyway, Russ brought it home for him and the boys, but I enjoyed it too. :)
And I believe in you
altho you never asked me too
I will remember you
and what life put you thru.

...for then I could fly away and be at rest. Sweet rest, Mom. We all love and miss you.

I finally got a chance to watch on dvd a few nights ago, and thought this one was heads and tails by far the best of all of the batman movies. :D

It was very enjoyable. 8)

I finally got round to seeing this film, i thought it was excellent.

I'm fairly sure ( although i am just guessing ) that Gordon's partner will become a villain, seemed kind of similar to the penguin to me.

Anyway, i loved it.
But if you're all about the destination, then take a fucking flight.
We're going nowhere slowly, but we're seeing all the sights.
And we're definitely going to hell, but we'll have all the best stories to tell.

Wasn't the partner killed in the riots at the end of the movie?

Knocked out, I think. Though Warmark has a point. However, wasn't Osman Cobblepot rich before he became the Penguin?

Batman: Year One and Dark Knight Returns are the things to start with. Y1 is his origin. DKR is a future story, after superheroes have been outlawed and gone for something like 20 tears, and Bats finds reason to get back into action. Both are written by the genius, Frank Miller. He also drew DKR. Both are available in trade paperback form.
