I just got around to reading this thread.
Cail--thank you. You are definitely a cornerstone in the foundation of the 'Tank. Discussions with you involved are both enlightening and enjoyable. :D

The Esmer--thank you as well. In a short time you have enlivened the 'Tank and added a spark to the discussions. :)
We just have to make sure that you don't start a fire. ;)

If he does start a fire, I'm sure he'll post an animated image of the Tank burning to the ground so we all can watch it.

You guys are making me gag...;)
War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself. All the time I've been a member, I've never come to this thread before. My bad. Some long overdue compliments are in order:

danlo -- for encouraging me to join in the Chronicles dissections; for steadfastly keeping SRD the focus of KW.
Earthblood -- for giving me my first shot at a chapter read. (Where are you, Earthy?)
dANdeLION -- for giving over some awesome chapters to me for Mordant's Need; for telling us to get with it when we missed deadlines, and for seeing the Mordant dissection through to completion. :)
duchess of malfi -- for setting an example of friendly and considerate discussion at KW. It's people like duchess who make KW the welcoming place it is. The duchess rocks! :R
Fist and Faith -- for keeping faith in the Watch, and for being the wackiest Haruchai that SRD never wrote about.
Furls Fire -- for her unflagging passion for the Chronicles, and for her passionate real life activism.
Syl -- for his subtle wit; as Mod, for being master of the art of walking softly while carrying a big stick.
Wayfriend and Xar -- for their deep comprehension of all things Covenant, and for being able to put it into words for the rest of us.
Durris -- for a scholarly depth of insight that has added so much to our appreciation of the Haruchai. (Where are you, Durris?)
Mystikan -- for providing a perspective on the Chronicles that is quite simply and utterly unique. (Where are you, Mystikan?)
Dragonlily -- for her analytical clarity and succinct way with words.
Loremaster -- for not being afraid to speak up against lazy language and lazy thinking.
CovenantJr and dlbpharmd -- for being no-nonsense guys and no-nonsense Mods
Avatar -- for being the hardest-working Mod around. As unflappable mediator, participant, and promoter of the Think-Tank, Av has turned it into the liveliest forum at KW (albeit the most fractious as well).
ur-bane -- for taking on co-Modship of the Tank. He's either brave or totally nuts. :P
Jay and Alynna -- for going the extra mile in being fair to everyone, and for not being afraid to lay down the law when needed; also for being the best comedy duo since TOM and dAN. :)
Vain -- no Vain, no home for KW. Simple as that. Vain is Da Man! Or Da Demondim-spawn! 8)

Hey, you can't have everything. Not all at once anyway. :D

Thanks MM. Now if only I could get you to participate there more, my work would be nearing completion. ;)

I want to compliment everyone for helping me to feel welcome to the forum. I have not had enough time to read enough posts yet to comment on various talents, but I will.

That said, there is one person that I know inside and out and I will shamelessly compliment:

Sgt. Null,
It is an honor to know and love you. I thank you for being the kind, loving human being that you are. You are truly an example that all should follow, you give so much to so many - your time, your talents and your money.
You are such a good, good man.

Julie

p.s.
I know some are groaning out there.
Sorry.
I had to do that.
