Now you know what you'd been missing out on.

I wish I could go back in time to before I'd read Mordant's Need, so that I could read it again without knowing what's going to happen. It's never quite the same when you read something for the second time.

Ah, but there is a way to partialy recapture that magic! Do what I am (slowly) doing: read it with your wife or significant other! We each take turns reading a couple of pages. Seeing her reaction as things happen is a great way of vicariously experiencing fresh!
